Conversations from the Top in Kansas City Aug. 18

Kelly Carnago, head of Google Fiber Business Operations for the Midwest region, will speak as part of the Conversations from the Top series which is a moderated fireside chat with executive women in leadership in Kansas City. 

Kelly will share her wisdom on Aug. 18, 2016, 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Central Exchange Downtown (1020 Central, Kansas City, Mo.). Registration* is required. 
In the Conversation from the Top series, you’ll hear inspirational stories from women who have faced challenging issues as they worked their way to the top of their field. They will share insights about their journey and give you things to think about in how you can achieve your own goals. 
August’s speaker, Kelly, leads local teams focused on community impact, business outreach, and customer acquisition and retention at Google Fiber. Prior to joining Google, Kelly was the chief carrier operations officer for HYLA Mobile where she was responsible for driving the company results and managing relationships with carrier partners globally. She also led marketing, brand strategy and public relations for the company. Prior to HYLA, Kelly held numerous executive roles at EMBARQ across consumer sales, e-commerce product and business development.  
Kelly also held leadership roles at Sprint Nextel. She served as vice president of ethics and compliance where she was charged with creating and later integrating a new program for the merged company. She also held positions of assistant vice president of strategic marketing and director of prepaid sales and marketing.
Kelly earned her B.A. from the University of Utah and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Doug, have two children.
