Join us Friday, Oct. 16 at 9:50 a.m. for our Friday Financial Forum. We will meet at the Friday Forum Room at Arvest's East Side Branch, located at 4225 S.E. Adams Rd. in Bartlesville, Okla*.

This week there will be a 9:50 a.m. pre-forum comedic performance by the Downtown Radio Players who will be performing on Oct. 17 at the Bartlesville Women's Club building located at 601 S. Shawnee Ave., Bartlesville, Okla.

Our featured speaker is Kent Dunlap, Chief at Natural Resource Management at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District. The Tulsa District's Works mission is one of the largest in the Corps of Engineers; it includes 38 multipurpose lakes and five lock and dams on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. Although the primary purpose of district lakes is flood control, they also provide recreation, water supply, hydropower, navigation, and fish and wildlife habitat. The district's 150 miles of the MKARNS boasts the most inland, ice-free river port in America and provides waterway commerce to the heartland of the country.
